About
EspressoIdiot.com is a guide for all lovers of espresso in the antipodes. Fortunately we are blessed in this part of the world to be in, or close to, the tropical belt where the delicious drink of the Gods, coffee, can be grown, harvested, and roasted. Best of all is the consumption of the wonderful flavoursome drink made from the bean, extracted properly using the espresso style. It is espresso in all of its forms that is the focus of this site.
This site is written by the Espresso Idiot, a man who has consistently been disappointed by what passes for impartial and informative information about coffee in this part of the world. Scratch the surface and you will find that the supposed 'impartial review' is nothing more than self promtion by individuals in the industry seeking to advance their interests. This site, and the Espresso Idiot himself, have no connection with the production, distribution, or sale of coffee (with the exception of being a substantial and discerning consumer of the finished product!).
The purpose of this site is to provide impartial reveiws for those who wish to get into their coffee in a serious way. The advice on this site is free and will cover the ready to drink coffee market, the take home coffee market, and of course the necessary equipment for the home of the coffee connoisseur.
